Our teachers know their students and work with them to help them realise their potential as learners. Our focus on authentic learning and authentic assessment ensures that we challenge our students to grow in their learning and achieve their personal best.
Throughout our community of Sydney Catholic schools, we have shown high performance of our students in measures such as NAPLAN and the HSC.
At Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School North Ryde we know our students on an individual basis and provide an extensive range of academic, co-curricular, emotional and spiritual opportunities. These allow them to discover their passion, explore and develop their skills in a variety of settings.
Assessment and the interpretation of data, assists teachers to cater for the needs of all our students. Through data analysis, we develop interventions and offer specific programs which assist students in their learning at all levels. Some of the assessments are: NAPLAN, ICAS, PAT (Progressive Achievement Assessment), Year 6 Religious Education Test and classroom-based assessment including clinical interviews, running records and writing analysis.
We always acknowledge students’ achievements in all areas during morning assembly and through the newsletter.
