We value positive relationships with parents and carers to help develop better social and emotional skills in children. We know that when children are engaged with their learning, they attend school more regularly, leading to better long term outcomes.
For parenting and counselling services, visit the Family Support page, and for direction and clarity on regulations, processes and procedures at our school, read the Sydney Catholic School policies.
At Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School North Ryde the Parents and Friends Association (P&F) encourage and create opportunities for parents to gather in a variety of settings. Social and community events and fundraising activities are the main focus of the group. The P&F recognises and values the role that parents/ carers play in the learning and development of their children and aims to strengthen the partnership between family, school and parish and the wider community.
The school newsletter is emailed fortnightly. It contains important news and reminders of upcoming events. A school sports newsletter is also emailed to each family in the last week of every school term.
Throughout the year there are numerous opportunities for parents to visit classrooms and be involved in a variety of activities. We encourage you to become involved as much as possible.
